R'n'B star Ms Dynamite has picked up six nominations for this year's Music of Black Origin (Mobo) Awards, equalling a record set by Craig David in 2000.
Hailed as one of Britain's fastest-rising musical talents, the North London singer is already in the running for a Mercury Music Prize for her debut album 'It Takes More'.
Other leading hopefuls include Alicia Keys, Ja Rule and So Solid Crew.
The awards will take place in London on October 4.
