Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland has signed up to make her big screen debut in a new horror flick called 'Freddy vs Jason'.
The pop star will play one of a group of friends who arrange a battle between legendary horror kingpins Freddy Krueger of 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' and Jason Vorhees of the 'Friday the 13th' movies.
Kelly will be the second Destiny's Child member to appear on the big screen as fellow group member Beyoncé has already appeared in the third installment of the 'Austin Powers' franchise
Rowland joins cast members Brad Renfro and Robert Englund in the New Line Cinema production, which is being directed by Ronny Yu and will start filming in September.
