Limp Bizkit have confirmed that studio legend Rick Rubin will produce their next album.
Rubin, whose most recent work was on the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album 'By the Way', has been working with the band for the last month.
It is the second time Rubin has worked with Limp Bizkit: the producer was attached to the sessions for Limp Bizkit's 2000 album 'Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water' for a short time.
Singer Fred Durst and bassist Sam Rivers will record guitar parts for the new album following the departure of guitarist Wes Borland last year.
MTV.COM reports that the Rubin-produced record is expected to reach the shops sometime between December and next February.
