Ja Rule, The Hives, The Vines and Sheryl Crow have all joined the line-up for the upcoming MTV Video Music awards.
Eminem, Pink, P. Diddy, Shakira, Ashanti, and Bruce Springsteen among others had already signed up to play at the event
Brandy, Kirsten Dunst, Linkin Park, James Gandolfini and Puddle Of Mudd will present awards along with other celebrities including Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Elton John, Enrique Iglesias, and 'Pop Idol' judge Simon Cowell.
The awards will be held at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on Thursday 29 August and can be seen live on MTV at 1am on Friday morning, with a repeat at 10pm that night.
