'Austin Powers in Goldmember' has gone straight to number one on the Ireland and UK box office chart after its opening weekend.
Mike Myers' third Austin Powers film knocked 'Scooby Doo' from its two-week stay at number one.
Despite poor reviews from the critics, 'Goldmember' took €8.75m in its first three days of release in Ireland and the UK.
'Austin Powers in Goldmember' also opened in the US, where it took €71.6m over the weekend.
