Acclaimed soul singer Terry Callier will play Dublin's Ambassador on 16 August.
The Chicago-born musician's career began in 1962 with the release of his debut single 'Look At Me Now'. His first album, 'The New Folk Sound of Terry Callier', followed six years later.
After releasing another five albums, Callier retired from music in 1983 to train as a computer programmer and concentrate on bringing up his only daughter.
Callier spent most of the eighties languishing in obscurity, but his music was rediscovered by the Northern Soul Scene and he began releasing new material again in 1998.
He is currently on tour to promote the release of his new album, 'Speak Your Peace'.
Tickets are on sale now from €28.50.
