Actress Angelina Jolie has confirmed that she and husband Billy Bob Thornton have gone their separate ways.
In an interview with the magazine US Weekly, the 27-year-old Oscar winner said that she and Thornton had not seen each other since the beginning of June.
She said that she was both angry and sad; their two-year marriage had increasingly become the subject of gossip in recent weeks.
They married in May 2000, it was Jolie's second marriage and Thornton's fifth.
