The Doors to reform

Thirty years after the death of their lead singer Jim Morrision, The Doors are to reform for a reunion tour.

The surviving members of the legendary Californian rock band are to play shows in the US and Europe.

The original keyboard player Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore have also been writing songs for a new album.

Since splitting up in 1973, they have only played twice together in public.

Morrison's place will be taken by The Cult's Ian Astbury.
