Charlotte Church is to make her movie debut in an upcoming comedy musical.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the film has the working title 'I'll Be There', and tells the story of a hasbeen 80s pop singer whose life turns around when he discovers that he has a teenage daughter, played by Charlotte Church.
The film will be directed by and star Craig Ferguson as Church's father and the cast also includes Jemma Redgrave and Joss Ackland.
Shooting begins this week in England with the film set for a March 2003 release.
