Pop princess Britney Spears is the most powerful celebrity on the planet, according to a poll published today.
The 20-year-old star topped the Forbes Global Celebrity 100 list which ranks the movers and shakers in the worlds of showbiz and sport.
Spears shot up from fourth place in 2001 to take the title in the poll which takes into account earnings, website hits and media coverage.
Just behind her were Tiger Woods, Steven Spielberg, Madonna and U2.
