Even before they graduate from their Film and Television diploma course, students at the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology have been making their mark.
Two of the students, Eithne Keane and Aine Young, produced a half-hour documentary called 'Tourists and Pilgrims' which was commissioned and aired by RTÉ.
The third year piece of student Gary Shore – 'Stella and Cowboy' – has been accepted by RTÉ's Debuts series.
This class is only the third year to graduate from the GMIT course.
The students' work can be viewed in Cluain Mhuire from 15 June as part of the Diploma and Degree art exhibitions and also as part of the shorts programme in the Galway Film Fleadh.
The Diploma show takes place in Galway's Town Hall Theatre on Saturday, 16 June.
