Woody Allen legal battle settled

A settlement has been reached in the legal battle between New York writer/actor/director Woody Allen and two of his former producers.

Allen had accused producer Jean Doumanian and her business partner of cheating him out of $12 million.

He said the two had cheated him out of his share of profits on eight movies made since 1993.

But the producers counter-claimed that Allen in fact owed them money.

Lawyers have refused to reveal the terms of the settlement, which was reached on the ninth day of the trial.
