'The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring' won Best Movie at the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles at the weekend.
Other nominees in the category were 'Black Hawk Down', 'Legally Blonde', 'The Fast and the Furious' and 'Shrek'.
Orlando Bloom, who played the elfin warrior Legolas in 'The Lord of The Rings', won the award for Breakthrough Performance.
Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman received the Best Musical Sequence award for 'Moulin Rouge'.
Kidman, who also won in the Best Female Performance category, professed herself "really bummed" that they didn't get best kiss.
That award was taken by Jason Biggs and Seann William Scott for kiss in the teen comedy 'American Pie 2'.
