Ozzy too cold for Irish Ozzfest

Ozzy Osbourne cancelled his appearance at the Irish Ozzfest on Sunday night after freezing winds blasted him on stage in Leicestershire the previous night.

The former Black Sabbath frontman was treated by a doctor after the Donington Park gig and a spokeswoman confirmed that he could not perform at Dublin's Punchestown Racecourse because of the freezing conditions the night before.

Tool, System of a Down, Slayer, Therapy? and Lostprophets played the Dublin gig without Osbourne, but his spokeswoman said he should be fit to play the next show in Poland on 29 May.

Ozzfest is Osbourne's annual five-month tour around Europe and the US.
