The Hollywood Reporter has said that singer Tyrese is in talks to star in the sequel to street racing movie 'The Fast and the Furious'.
After Vin Diesel decided not to return as bad boy Dominic Toretto in the second instalment, the scriptwriters created a new nemesis for cop Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker) – the part earmarked for Tyrese.
Tyrese made his movie debut in the John Singleton ('Boyz N the Hood') movie 'Baby Boy'; he is also set to star in 'Extortion', a thriller he wrote and will also executive produce.
