U2 debuted their new song 'Hands that Built America' at New York's Tribeca Film Festival on Monday.
MTV News reports that the band performed the song in Ireland but it was then beamed across the Atlantic.
The song features on the soundtrack to the upcoming Martin Scorsese movie 'Gangs of New York'.
U2 were asked to perform by Scorsese and actor Robert De Niro, one of the people behind the Tribeca Festival.
