French film veteran Yves Robert has died aged 81.
The actor, producer and director is best known for his films 'My Father's Glory', 'My Mother's Castle' and 'An Elephant'.
Robert directed more than 20 films, many of which chronicled the idyllic splendour of French rural life.
Other Robert films include 'War Of The Buttons' and 'The Tall Blond Man With One Black Shoe'.
