Irish singer Ronan Keating has told reporters he fears he may have lost his original Boyzone fans.
The former boyband frontman said he was worried that his new album, 'Destination', may not be a success.
"I'm really nervous about the new album. I mean it has to live up to 4.5 million copies that the last album sold and this time it's not on the back of Boyzone's success," he said.
But the Dubliner described the album as "the best piece of work I've ever done".
He credited much of his success as a solo artist to his time in Boyzone, saying, "I won't deny anything about Boyzone, it made me who I am and gave me the opportunity to do this."
Ronan Keating plays the Point Theatre, Dublin on 23 June 2002 and the Odyssey Arena, Belfast on 25 June 2002.
