Singer songwriter Jewel has broken her collarbone in a horse riding accident.
The 27-year-old was thrown from a colt on her rodeo rider boyfriend's ranch.
Jewel was not hospitalised, but will have to wear a collar and sling for at least a month.
Jewel's third album, 'This Way', was released earlier this year.
