James Al Hendrix, who introduced his guitar legend son Jimi to music has died. He was 82.
Hendrix died in his sleep at his Seattle home on Wednesday after a long battle with congestive heart failure.
A former Golden Gloves boxer, Hendrix worked as a plumber, electrician, and gardener before retiring because of poor health in 1979.
