Concert promoters MCD have just announced that New Order are to play in Dublin.
The legendary Manchester band have been added to the bill of the Red Hot Chili Peppers gig which will take place in Lansdowne Road on 25 June.
Formed in 1980 from the remnants of Joy Division, New Order recently released their seventh album, 'Get Ready'.
A new single from the soundtrack to the film '24 Hour Party People' about the rise and fall of their label, Factory Records, is due out on 15 April. 'Here To Stay' is a collaboration between New Order and the Chemical Brothers.
