US director F Gary Gray is to direct the remake of classic heist caper 'The Italian Job'.
The 60's original, which starred Michael Caine and Benny Hill, told the story of a group of Mini-driving English thieves who set up a breath-taking heist in Italy.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the new movie will be set in both Italy and Los Angeles.
The film is set to begin shooting in either late July or early August with its release scheduled for the following summer.
Gray has previously directed movies like 'The Negotiator' and 'Friday'.
