U2 have dismissed rumours they will play some European dates with Oasis this summer.
A statement on the band’s website says the Irish rock gods will not be playing any dates during the summer months, either with or without the Gallaghers.
“Stories have been swirling around the net for some time about possible dates in 2002 but contrary to current rumours there’ll be no U2 dates this summer,” the statement posted on www.u2.com reads.
Meanwhile, Oasis are set to release their new single, ‘The Hindu Times’, on April 15.
