Legal hassles for Destiny's Child

Girl trio Destiny's Child are being sued by two former members of the group.

LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson allege that the hit song 'Survivor' makes derogatory comments about them.

The lyric at the centre of the lawsuit is: "You thought I wouldn't sell without you, sold 9 million."

Luckett and Roberson left Destiny's Child in 2000.

They claim that a settlement between them and the group, which said that neither side would make disparaging remarks in public about the other, has been breached.

A lawyer for Destiny's Child has called the legal action "ridiculous".

Destiny's Child won a Grammy Award for 'Survivor' on Wednesday night when it was named Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group.
