Actor David Duchovny is set to return as Agent Fox Mulder in the last episode of the 'X-Files'.
The two-hour episode will air in the US on May 19.
Duchovny will also direct an episode in the run up to the finale.
Announcing Duchovny's return yesterday, Fox Television were tight-lipped on storylines, but did say that some of the show's most enduring questions would be answered during the last five episodes.
