Irish film fans are to get another chance to see one of this year's Oscar-nominated Short Animations, 'Give Up Your Aul Sins'.
The film will be rebroadcast on RTÉ 1 this Friday, 15 February at 9.30pm.
'Give up Yer Aul Sins', produced by Cathal Gaffney and Darragh O'Connell of Brown Bag Films for RTÉ, Bord Scannán na hÉireann and the Arts Council, was one of two Irish shorts nominated in the category; Ruairí Robinson and Seamus Byrne were also nominated for 'Fifty Percent Grey'.
Five minutes long, 'Give Up Your Aul Sins', was transmitted on RTÉ twice on Christmas Day 2001.
The film is based on audio recordings taken 30 years ago of young Dublin children giving their own interpretations of Bible stories, and illustrated by animation sequences.
The Oscars ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on Sunday 24 March.
