US pop princess Britney Spears attended the première of her debut film 'Crossroads' in Los Angeles yesterday.
Spears was accompanied by her boyfriend and N'Sync member Justin Timberlake.
The 20-year-old singer told awaiting media that she was confident her film would be more successful than Mariah Carey's 'Glitter', which bombed at the box office last year.
Spears plays a teenager, who embarks on a journey in search of her mother in the company of two friends, in the film, which is aimed at a teenage market.
Spears and Timberlake have also been mentioned as possible candidates for a remake of the film 'Love Story'.
The 1970 romance, starring Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal, was a huge blockbuster.
A move on the remake will depend on reception to 'Crossroads'.
