'Monsters, Inc', the new movie from the makers of 'Toy Story', has become the biggest opening animated film in Irish cinema history.
The film took over €1.28m in its opening weekend, only 'Harry Potter' and 'The Lord of the Rings' have taken more.
'Monsters, Inc' now looks set to eclipse animation company Pixar's previous highest grossing film in Ireland, 'Toy Story 2', which took £3.2m.
