TV network NBC has announced that 'Friends' is to return to screens for a ninth and final season.
The six stars of the show inked a deal yesterday to work on a 24-episode final series.
It has been reported in the US that the cast members, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox Arquette, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, are to be paid $1m per episode.
