Author Susan Sontag is to collaborate with Patti Smith on the singer's upcoming retrospective CD.
The double album, 'Land 1975-2002', will feature previously released and unreleased material with liner notes written by Sontag.
The album is due for release on March 19; Smith is also expected to launch her new website in March.
