Actress Reese Witherspoon has accepted the $8m starring role in a new tennis drama.
The as yet untitled film tells the story of a failed player who becomes a coach and gets a chance to turn her life around.
Witherspoon is also producing a sequel to her hit movie 'Legally Blonde', although it has not been confirmed that she will appear in the follow-up.
She is also set to produce and star in a new film, 'The Flying Smiths', with her husband, Ryan Phillippe.
