Welsh band The Stereophonics have begun their tour of Japan without drummer Stuart Cable.
The position has been temporarily filled by Owen Hopkin of one-time V2 label mates The Cocketts.
According to the band's official website, Cable has been detained at home in Wales due to "family reasons".
It has been suggested that Cable wanted to spend more time with his young son.
