Virtual band Gorillaz and pop bad-boy Robbie Williams are being tipped to sweep this year's Brit awards.
Britain's version of the Grammys honours the best rock and pop acts of the last 12 months.
Williams triumphed this year with two number one singles and a number one album, selling out his tour dates.
Gorillaz, a band that appealed to both dance and indie fans in 2001, are expected to feature in the Best British Group category, with Travis, Radiohead and Stereophonics also strong contenders.
Commentators are also predicting multiple nominations for Dido, The Strokes and Aussie singer Kylie Minogue who beat Victoria Beckham to the number one spot with 'Can't Get You Out of My Head'.
The full list of nominees will be announced tonight, although former Police frontman Sting's Lifetime Achievement Award has already been announced.
The awards ceremony will take place on 20 February.
