US rockers The Black Crowes look likely to split after the band announced they are to take "a hiatus".
According to a spokesman, singer Chris Robinson – who recently married actress Kate Hudson - is to pursue a solo career.
The Black Crowes have released eight albums during their 15-year career; they had hits with 'Hard To Handle' and 'Jealous Again'.
No time scale has been put on the planned break.
