Charlie Sheen, star of television series 'Spin City', is to marry Bond girl Denise Richards.
Sheen (36) became a star after his performances in Oliver Stone's films 'Platoon' and 'Wall Street', but his career was hampered by substance abuse.
After suffering a near-fatal overdose, Sheen was placed on probation in 1998.
His recovery has been marked by a leading role in 'Spin City' for which he won a Golden Globe award.
Former model Richards is best known for her appearance in the 1999 James Bond film, 'The World is Not Enough'.
She has also starred in 'Valentine', 'Wild Things' and' Starship Troopers'.
