Daniel O'Donnell has been awarded an honorary MBE in Queen Elizabeth's New Year Honours list.
The award was made for his decades of service to the music industry.
Dublin-based fashion designer John Rocha is also being honoured. He is to receive a CBE, as will 46-year-old Yorkshire-born soprano Lesley Garrett.
Actor Ben Kingsley receives a knighthood for services to drama while 'Angela's Ashes' director Alan Parker receives a knighthood for services to the British Film Industry.
Other stars named on the Honours list include the Bee Gees (CBE), singer Sade (CBE) and actress Lynn Redgrave (OBE).
