Universal Pictures is to make a sequel to its surprise summer hit, 'The Fast and The Furious'.
The film's director, Rob Cohen, will also make the follow-up and writing teams are working on two scripts.
Both scripts see the action move from LA to Miami with actors Paul Walker and Vin Diesel reprising their roles as cop and street racer.
Universal wants to reunite the original cast, but no deals have been inked thus far.
