Hugh Grant has strenuously denied reports that he will be Godfather to his former partner's baby.
Liz Hurley is due to have a baby next April by her American boyfriend Steve Bing.
Grant says he had met up with Liz recently in Los Angeles and reported that she seemed "very well".
However Grant has move to quash rumours of close involvement with the child and said that he was "not being a godfather".
