Dublin teenager Sophie Vavasseur is to star alongside Pierce Brosnan in the real-life drama 'Evelyn'.
In her movie debut, the 14-year-old will play the title character, who is Brosnan's screen daughter.
The story focuses on a father who battled the Irish Government and Catholic Church to get custody of his children after his wife left him and he lost his job.
Bruce Beresford will direct the film, which also stars Alan Bates and Julianna Margulies.
