Books by four Irish writers are on the list of eligible titles for the next IMPAC Dublin Literary Award.
The nominated books are ‘Inishowen’ by Joseph O’Connor, ‘The Pretender’ by Mary Morrisy, ‘Eclipse’ by John Banville and Michael Collins’ ‘The Keeper Of The Truth’.
The eventual shortlist will be chosen from 123 books nominated by more than 100 municipal libraries in 34 countries.
The overall winner of the £100,000 prize will be announced next May.
