Due to legal technicalities the trial of REM guitarist Peter Buck for an alleged air-rage episode collapsed yesterday. A retrial date will be set.
Buck was charged with assaulting British Airways' staff, being drunk on board an aircraft and causing criminal damage during a flight from Seattle to Heathrow on April 21.
He was granted conditional bail of £20,000.
