Garbage drummer Butch Vig is to miss the band's European tour after he was diagnosed with hepatitis A.
Vig will be replaced on the dates by Matt Chamberlain, who worked on the most recent album sessions.
The tour kicks off tonight at Norway's Trondheim Student Festival and ends with a show at the London Astoria on November 14.
A statement on the official Garbage website said, "He is on the road to a complete recovery…However, under doctor's orders, he will be unable to play with the band during their upcoming European shows."
