Gabrielle says she doesn't deserve the title of British Queen of Soul.
The singer says she can't match soul stars like Beverley Knight, adding that she prefers pop music to soul. "I'm a pop kid really," says Gabrielle.
"You only have to check out my music collection - it's got David Gray, Coldplay and U2. I'm into songs. I've got some soul but it doesn't move me in the same way."
Gabrielle's greatest hits album 'Dreams Can Come True' is due out in November. She plays the Point Theatre, Dublin on 22 December 2001.
