Kathy Burke is to quit acting. The actress says she no longer has the "buzz" for the profession.
She will stop acting after Christmas and become a full-time director.
Burke is best known for the BBC television sitcom 'Gimme Gimme Gimme', and her character Perry in Harry Enfield's show.
She also won a best actress award at the Cannes Festival for 'Nil By Mouth'.
