Long-suffering Janice Battersby is set to finally give in to temptation when she ends up in bed with former lodger Dennis Stringer in a new 'Coronation Street' storyline.
Fans of the Street have long been asking themselves why Janice puts up with loveable layabout Les Battersby.
The steamy tryst occurs when Dennis saves her from a terrifying ordeal during an attack on the factory and this week viewers will see Janice admit that she still has strong feelings for him.
Actress Vicky Entwistle said: "It is a great storyline to be involved in cause it is the sort of thing the viewers love, when they are in on the secret but other people don't know. We are looking forward to the reaction of the fans of the Street."
