Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland has quit the band.
A statement from the group's management company confirmed that the departure of Borland was 'amicable'.
"Both Limp Bizkit and Borland will continue to pursue their respective musical careers. Both wish each other the best of luck in all future endeavours," the statement also said.
Borland had been with the group since its inception in 1994, and became the second most popular member of the band behind frontman Fred Durst.
