Jon Bon Jovi has put his plans to appear in TV show Ally McBeal on hold for a month.
The singer was due to begin his five month stint on the show soon, but has decided he wants take part in benefit shows for the US terror attack victims.
He has asked the show's producers to delay his filming for a month. He is now expected to be seen in the show for the first time in early January.
