Actress Kate Winslet pulled out of the premiere of her new film, 'Enigma', just hours before the event.
The break up of the 25-year-old's marriage to film director Jim Threapleton three weeks ago was said to the be the reason for her absence.
The actress said that she would like some time out of the spotlight and away from the prying questions of the British press.
Enigma, which is based on the best selling book by Robert Harris, is produced by Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger.
