Stars to cut charity record

Michael Jackson has announced plans to record a song to benefit those injured and bereaved in last Tuesday's American atrocity.

Among the stars who are believed to have agreed to take part are Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Destiny's Child and Backstreet Boy Nick Carter.

Jackson is also expected to act as producer for the single, called 'What More Can I Give', in an effort to raise £30 million.

The legend said: "I believe in my heart that the music community will come together as one and rally to the aid of the thousands of innocent victims."
