Elizabeth Hurley's being replaced as the face of Estee Lauder make-up and skincare by a supermodel 10 years her junior.
However the cosmetics giant says that 36 year old Hurley, will continue to appear in the company's fragrance adverts.
The rest of the brand will be represented by US model Carolyn Murphy.
Estee Lauder says the decision was mutual and was made to allow Hurley more time for her film work.
It ends a seven-year deal in which the British actress was the sole face of the brand.
